The past week

This past week was a fairly low key week. I wasn't much in the mood to study, so I didn't. Well, that is sort of true. I had the third OSCE of my medical school life. What is an OSCE you ask? Well, it is where we students get to go and play doctor and get graded. This one was a complete history and physical. I had an hour in the exam room with my patient and a ninety minutes in another room to put the whole thing down on paper. I spent the week working on getting ready for this. I feel like I did well. I can only think of one thing that I completely forgot to ask about. I got just a second of help from the M4 grader in the room. She told me that the desk light was on so I could turn off the overhead lights for the eye exam. I think it is very good that I had this test this weekend. Half of the class takes it next weekend. While they are getting ready for it and getting behind in regular class stff, I will be catching up. I'd rather be playing catch up this week than next.

Test results are back again. I did better on this test than I did on the last test. The average was just at 80%. It felt like the hardest test I have ever taken, but maybe I should learn that if I think they are hard, I do better...

I have a few around the house things to do today. It still looks like a medical school notes paper factory blew up. I'd like it clean. I feel better when it is clean. Oh, where is my fairy maid? (oh, wait, that's me.)

It's almost 11:00 here and I have gotten only this blog done this morning. Wish me luch on getting back up to speed on viruses and fungi.
