I obviously haven't been paying that much attention to what I put here since I spelled 'forum' incorrectly on several occasions.
Right now I am in the middle of my break. The third and final group comes in on Sunday. I will then be on my way back to Denver, which may be an adventure in and of itself.
The last group of kids that we had were much different than the first group. One of my most 'special' campers did two amazingly smart things. First he flushed oranges, or at leats tried to. Not just in his suite but in the one right next to his. He told the adults that they fell in, which, according to him, they believed. Secondly, he decided that it would be a great idea to put an apple in the microwave for 99 minutes. When the smoke alarm went off, he quickly replaced it with chicken wings in foil. This time, the staff actually bought the story, although I realized right away that the foil wouldn't smoke. Since he was ion my room, I was the first staff to learn of the real story.
As with most of my breaks, I have been sleeping a lot.. I walked into town to get dinner this afternoon. It's about a 30 minute walk. Boy did I need to get out and get some exercise and fresh air.
Right now, the TV room has been taken over by on of the oather staff members who is watching BET. I think I am going to go back up to my room and entertain myself.
