First test is days away
Saturday brings the first test of the year. Immunology, pathology, pharmocology, and whatever else they want.
I am not staying at school to study right now, at least not as long as I was staying at the end of last year. I got the feeling then, and I still get it now, that mostly the first year students use the library for hard-core studying. The rest of us have learned what we need to be successful and can find it places away from school. The main reasons that I am studying at home are that 1) food is less expensive here and 2) I work out after class and I need to take a shower after. I suppose I could take a shower at school, but that would require that I orgainze that stuff. Just one more thing to take to school and back home and back to school. I'm sure when I get into the heart of some of my rotations I will have to do that in order to be able to work out at all.
I feel like I am ahead of the game (at least for me). I have gone over all of the notes, most of them at least twice. I have two days of notes that I don't know very well - lots of the questions that I make up for myself are still unknown. Actually, I got through one of those lectures yesterday and I will be through the second one today.
I am a little annoyed with today. The professor for the one lecture today and for one of them tomorrow told us that she is just giving an overview and we need to do reading to fill in the gaps. Thanks, woman. Why don't we have these lectures with a little more time to do the readings and learn all the stuff. Why can't we have some of the more review lectures this week and hers earlier? It just gives me one more thing to do.
Dad - I'm down by 3 or 4. How are you?
