There was a lot of discussion some time back about what the official mascot of UNMC. I did a little research of my own, because who wants to be an antelope? Not me. The best thing I can come up with is that UNMC doesn't really have a mascot, but they use the UNL mascot when needed. I'll give you the important stuff so you don't have to go there yourself. In the article, it talks about which mascots will be present. Here is what it says about UNMC: UNMC's mascot will feature a 'Lil' Red' with a lab coat and goggles. So I guess that means the we are a dorky version of the cornhusker.
