On Residency

Saturday, July 17, 2004

Yesterday was foggy all day.  I went to the beach and got a few pictures that turned out.  I can't put them online here so in a few weeks, I'll see if there is any way to get them here so y'all can see what a difficult time I have here.  Today is the second day the sun was out and the sky was (mostly) clear.

The rounding up of kids has begun.  There are several rooms that often have the wrong people in them late at night. Last night, another RA named Hanne and I were standing outside of her room after midnight on the girls' side and out from one of the rooms comes a boy.  We then entered the room and found the second boy.  They got marched over to their side and their RA, Adrian was alerted.  He wasn't too happy to be gotten out of bed as he had just settled in and he had had a long day with lessons, rehearsals, etc.  We chased girls out of the boys side the night before.

Saturday here is just like the rest of the week here, except the kids get to stay up an extra half hour on Friday night.  Sunday is our break day for the camp.  We are going to the aquarium tomorrow.  It should be interesting.
