What I learned from summer camp:

1. 4 loads of laundry will not, under any circumstances, fit into one load of laundry.  It will, in fact, most likely cause the washer motor to burn out.  

1.a. white smoke pouring out of a washing machine is not a good thing.  (this smoke really stinks by the way.)

2. related to #1, four loads of wet clothes weigh much more than four loads of dry clothes.

3. also related to #1, teenage boys need to be taught how to do laundry.

4.  girls are much quieter when sneaking around after hours than are boys.  the girls at least try to be quiet.  the boys, not so much.
