Is it really December already?

So it's been a while. Who knows where the time went? I'm sitting downstairs with the dogs and the heat while Marcus is upstairs sleeping. He's been feeling terrible all weekend.

Residency is going OK. I'm really really tired, all the time, even when I have an easy rotation like now. I'm on newborn nursery and I get to call the shots on our babies. I'm loving it and really enjoying talking to the parents. I finally feel like I know enough to talk to parents without risking telling them things that are half true.

I have a few projects in the works now. I'm going to do more research on autism and alternative therapies (play, music, etc), some stuff on Hepatitis B vaccination in neonates, and a presentation on the 22nd on 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. Sound fun??? Yup, uh huh.
