And the word of the day is...

PEROTINUM

for such a short word, it is awefully complicated. it serves as the abdominal protector in a way.

i learned how to do an exam for hernias in the ingunial canal today. now all i need is a test subject. i haven't gotten any volunteers.

we had no lab time today - just four hours of lecture followed by three more hours of stuff (this is yet to come). i like the subject matter but i'm sure i won't get it down by the end of the day, which is what i would like to do ideally. i also need to spend time in the lab reviewing the two labs from yesterday. my scrubs are getting very stinky. i should wash them soon.

i felt a migrane starting this morning. i took some excedrine (bad, bad, bad) and i feel like i am holding off the headache. during lecture today, we all started smelling something yummy. it was the pizza delivery for the lunch lecture. it didn't help me that i was already hungry. the guy came in during the middle of class and delivered the pizza. if that was my lecture, i'd have been upset.

i have lines across my belly - at the levels of T9, T11, L1, and L3. thess are the levels of the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th ribs. i also have lines on my ASIS, or anterior superior iliac spine. i look lovely. later i'll have my kidneys. liver, and spleen.
