It's gotten better

in the last two days. I've gotten sleep and one house is almost completely packed up with the exception of just a handful of things and most likely a goodwill run on Tuesday. I have friends at my house for the next two days to help with packing and I think I'm in good shape. The movers, who moved Marcus's house over to the storage containers at my house yesterday, worked so hard. They even wrapped and put my big furniture into the containers too. It was worth every penny. The least empty container has the bulky awkward stuff in is, so it will require creative repacking to get the rest of the stuff into it. It will also require tie downs to keep that big stuff from shifting and squishing the other stuff. Once the containers are packed, I call the company and they will pick them up, transport them to Vermont, and put them into storage until we can get them to move into the house in a few weeks.
