My mood is:

Frustrated.

Marcus, bless his heart, as looked at many, many houses and has found that many of them need updating badly or aren't well constructed. I got a call from him the other night saying he found the perfect house, and by the time he called to put in an offer the next day, the owners were signing a contract. Then there was another house, a little out of our desired price range but a very nice house, and one that we could honestly afford. We were ready to put an offer on it Monday and found out that it too has been sold. So today he is out, yet again, for the third day in a row, looking at more houses. We are running out of time and it looks like options.

Today my house is having an open house. There are a lot of touch ups that need to be done, I could probably work on it for days and still find little things that I could do. Right now I'm concentrating on the main surfaces and floors. I just want to make sure that there aren't any chunks of food on the kitchen counter or floor or black fuzzies on the carpets. Maybe somebody will want my place today. Probably not.
