Days 4 and 5

So I missed posting from Friday. The good news is that I now have a sink in place and a dishwasher installed, although it's not turned on yet. The grout looks great. I am so pleased. The last guy here left a bit of a mess, but I'm not complaining. He's a friend of Marcus' and he did all the sink work ad installed the dishwasher for the price of $20 and maybe some beers during boy's night out on Wednesday (I don't get to go to that, but that's OK with me!!!)

Today is a good day/bad day. I am still studying for the board exam and I am doing really bad on the practice exams today. Yesterday I was doing very well, but bad days like this can be disheartening. BUT, I discovered yesterday that I am, in fact, able to swim, even with the toe. So it's off to the gym again with me this evening. It feels so good to be swimming, and I feel great when I'm done.

Here's the to do list for the kitchen, in no particular order:
1. get the vent above the stove put back with a minor bit of work and rearrangement.
2. wash the walls because there is still some residual grout.
3. get the boys to install the range without creating a short.
4. move the refrigerator out of the laundry room and back into it's correct spot.
5. paint.
6. clean the cabinets.
7. clean up the little mess on the floor from today.
8. new hardware for the cabinets.
9. fix the big hole under the sink (ask Marcus how that happened :) )
10. anything else I have forgotten??
