Well, today didn't go as smoothly as I wish it had, but boy do the counter tops look great. The walls will be painted sooner than later I suspect. The additional charge for the day: adding 1/4inch plywood because the particle board that was down (I think it was particle board) was pulling up in chunks with the old top. As you can see, the sink is still out - I'm going to have to figure out how to get it back in. Yes, it was part of the contract that they get it back in but there were some clips missing or something and the sink kept falling right through even though the metal around it was fitting nicely. I think it will require a little bit of wood and some screws or nails. Hopefully it won't require a plumber. Tomorrow the floor gets done. Thursday the tile back splash.
