i had my first visit with my preceptor today. he is really neat and has a great sense of humor. he is big on educating the parents and on educating me. i learned today that sometimes the best way to get little brothers to open their mouths and say ahh is to have big brother do it first. i looked in ears and noses and mouths. i now know what a normal heart sounds like and what a heart murmur sounds like (lub dub woosh). i even wrote some prescriptions - signed them and everything. i will go back in two weeks when i will be going solo.

i have a headache. i took something for it. it's starting to go away. it had better! i have lots to do tonight. i can get 4-5 hours of work done if i can start soon.
