I have taken a little bit of a break this afternoon. I had some around the house stuff that I had to take care of and a few errands to run. One of the things I did was call my preceptor. He is a pediatrician and his office is very near my house. He sounded really excited to have me, and I think that I will be able to see whatever I want and to get plenty of hands on experience. I will have my first afternoon with him on Monday. They don't wear white coats there.
