Hot and humid
When it's this hot and humid, there better be an ocean near by.
It is now three weeks until I take my exam. I have a practice exam scheduled for June 8. I don't expect to do stellar at that point, but I am doing it so I can see the test center and get a feeling for the real format. I'm not quite sure what to expect.
This weekend was a weekend of travel. My friend Peggy got married in Minnesota, so a classmate of mine, her husband, and I drove up on Fridan and back yesterdy. We took the long way yesterday, stretching what could have been a 6 hour drive into an almost 12 hour drive. We weren't driving for the entire time, but that didn't make me any less glad to pull into my driveway. I did, however, see the Corn Palace in South Dakota. This country is a strange place. At least I didn't have to do any of the driving. They have a hybrid, so the gas was not as bad as it could have been as well.
I have a violin lesson tomorrow. :)
