On Residency

I am having a bad day at work. Things aren't working as they should and it's my fault. I guess I'm just not focusing. It's not the end of the world, but it is a whole day most likely wasted. It happens occasionally - just the nature of the job. The thing that stinks today is that the things that aren't working can't be fixed quickly. I'm tired from the weekend and from my late night last night. I didn't get home until after 11:00 and then I had housework to do. I would have put off the housework, but I have been putting it off for a week and it really needed to get done. I didn't actually climb into bed until after midnight and probably didn't get to sleep until after 1:00. The alarm at 5:30 was an unwelcome thing.

On another note, I have discovered that I am an active learner. Lectures where I sit and listen just don't do it for me. Good thing Nebraska has a lot of hands-on interactive learning. Otherwise I could be in trouble!

I appreciate the quotes that I have been getting! Keep them coming.
