Test Three Is Graded
I passed. Not only did I pass, I got a positive z-score. That means that I am above the class average. I felt really good about this test and it is nice to know that when I wasn't wrong. I also think it's a sign that I am starting to get things figured out. I studyed differently than I had for the first two tests and it worked for me. I think one of the smartest things I did was to go back into the lab every night for an hour or two to look over stuff. I feel like I slept more and studyed less, but maybe I just have fallen into the groove of things and I am starting to do as well as I know I can do.
I got a perfect score (10/10) on one of my essays. The question was basically, "what borders this space". I drew a picture of the space with borders and then described the space in essay form. The comment that I got back was 'good job and drawing'. Who knew that drawings are allowed in medical school essays? I guess it's clinically okay, though, because if I can describe something to a patient in a straight forward way with a drawing where words would be confusing, which one do you think is better?
